Sublime Desperations

Sublime Desperations

A Poem by Priyanka Natesh
"

It really is strange how despite the blandness of the surroundings, love survives.

"

Lying deep beneath a mesh of nerves

A blinding spark,

A shimmering twinkle

His figure arouses, entices my senses

The butterflies fly loose,

Heart quivers, lips tighten

Mind conscious of his bold gaze

I let the wind through

To flow through every crevice

Aware of my female charms

I dare him to touch me

A fleeting image of his lips on mine

His hands on me

Devouring my being

His hair on my face

Our bodies twining into one

Mingled desperation finally at peace.

My flushed cheeks, he bends to kiss

Nestled in my bosom he whispers his needs

Blissful convergence I long for each day

My love, can you hear me?

Make me your mistress, a succulent secret.
