Clogged Streams.

Clogged Streams.

A Poem by Priyanka Natesh

Shushing words, no longer my own
Ghostly apparitions, echoing wails
of original selves and slurred advice
While I bump along murky eyed
half humans, pretending all the way
Life eh? Is this it?
Groping after life in dreams?
clutching wisdom, my jejune babe?
Hope's immortal, the fighter
Why let go, it says,
Suppose, pretend, feign..

Lost in a haze of misunderstanding, that is what I feel this poem is about. Nice work.

this puts me in mind of being on a crowded city street with bodies all around you and feeling everyone's feelings as your own. (I hate crowds) love it!
