Awakening

Awakening

A Poem by Priyanka Natesh
"

A true moment of awakening.

"
It's a sudden burst of knowledge,
a shaft of radiance so utterly clear!
Like a wave of cosmic energy has found me at last!
It is all so clear now,
who I am and what I want
-a soul of a vagrant waiting to spring forth.
The light is blinding
I could cry, laughing all the while!
I have finally found the key!
and the Doors have let me in
I am different, I AM one of them
No! I am not proud, this is what I AM.
But this is the very start
of wondering and realization
I am young but I have found my first answer
A wayfarer, waiting to set out,
I am ready to begin, to lead, to search.

Door's--> Doors? [I think an apostrophe sneaked in there??]
The punctuation (commas, that exclamation mark) have no space between them and the next letter... is that to accent oneness or a mistake..or neither?

With that aside ^.^; :
This sounds like an epiphany; a very monistic epiphany arrived at by someone who realizes that it is not merely a singular cog in an infinite universe but the machine; the universe itself along with every other cog and part. And once this realization is, well, realized the narrator is ready to begin a new existence as this machine, to lead other cogs to realizing that they are more than cogs, and, of course, search for cogs in need of such realization (??????).

(This is a) Beautifully crafted poem and very eye-opening!

Sometimes take time for us to know the truth in a life.
"A wayfarer,waiting to set out,
I am ready to begin,to lead,to search."
When we learn where we need to be. We will know happiness. A excellent poem.

I love the flow of this powerful piece. Your description of discovery is completly breath taking. I am glad that you were the one to penn this profound experience otherwise it may have been lacking some of its glory.

A tested method of memory and time, it lends hope to those not willing to read the finer wording of the prose, well done, a great read.
