Heavenly Beauty..A Poem by Priyanka NateshI am a lover of Indian classical dance and among the hundreds of them i love one south Indian dance form which i learn-Bharatanatyam.
She walks into the room,
in quick rhythmic steps, her anklet bells resonating, awe struck eyes following her.. Her lovely fish like eyes, flicker up for a coy glance, and a mesmerized hush descends, at the beauty of her Kohl eyes.. Her solemnly grand costume, clings to her sculptured body, her long plaited hair swings, as she floats amidst stares.. Her dainty feet touch the dais, she shrugs off the coyness, and reaches out to a million souls, by a mere language of gestures.. She dances oh so lithely, submitting herself to God almighty, and leads souls into a divine trance, hypnotized by her flashing red lips.. Her glimmering jewels, shine like tiny stars, Making lovers tremble with awe,her celestial dance.. Beauty impeccable, Grace undeniable, a Goddess she is, with power so feminine..
