The Touch of an Angel....

This poem, my first one, is dedicated to two very prominent ladies in my life who have slowly drifted away from my life because of my stupidity...

Why do I need you when things go wrong..

When i know that I despise you..or is that wrong?

We pledged our hearts, our souls and our lives

That we shall never part, but I lied and you smiled..

We swirled and twirled to the symphony of joy

Drinking in the beauty of love and rejoiced

Sitting by the sea reminiscing our school days

We laughed till we cried under the moon's embrace

Our hearts entwined with glory and love

Affection so great that we rose to be ONE

Then one night a thunderbolt lashed

Shattering our trust and leaving me abashed

After all the years of exuberance and blithe

It seems now though, that we were worlds apart

It's time to throw away the facade of pride

And tell you my dear,that I miss you so much...

For it has never hurt this much to find you nowhere

And my heart it cries, cries so hard to feel you there..

You were an angel, I wish you were here..

So I could hold you in my arms and pretend we were never apart...

How we can express with such few words...
what we feel and wish others to believe.....
Wells up the eyes with tears that know..
Know and feel the power of the words.....
Resonating every memory and takes me back...

Those moments that i wish i could take back....
Reminds us of the voids that we wish hadn't formed....
Such pain from our doings,
And the joy from forgiveness and acceptance,
