Life: Philosophically

Life: Philosophically

A Poem by Priyanka Natesh
"

Sometimes, all that the soul wishes for is to fly unheeded...

"

Why take life so seriously?

It’s only a mirage

A bilingual fantasy

Of whims that predominate,

And pleasures that simulate.

Laughs and fears,

Trickery and wrath

None so significant,

None so brave.

Then why not surrender?

To the One and the Beyond

That fondles nor evades

the spectacle of inanimate life.

On a deserted expanse

In the midst of the ocean

In the gleam of the sun

In the wreath of the meadow

To fill with power

To sink into the soil

To cry into the air

To plead to accept

To revert to existence

To blend with the Life

That survives and subsists

That bows to none at all.

Where lies power

But in breathing the truth

In simply observing

And surrendering to All

I really like the visual of how u placed yer verses and there is some interest in yer words...but think u need 2 change 'bilingual' ...there are more than 2 voices and languages at any step in this world
