Pessimist

Pessimist

A Poem by Pritesh
"

Here is the narration of a man just deprieved of every hope and love of this nasty world....I HOPE YOU'LL LIKE IT.

"
The endless, barren life is vain.
Shorn off hope and all disdain.

Only can I hear the solitary voice:
"No reason with you to rejoice!".

My luck pretends never to shine.
"Where will lead the destiny mine!".

The incredulous world to my thought ever,
enlisted my mind in the eccentric fewer.

In the world renounced none to criticize.
Even the upcoming hell not to me a surprise.

The brief statement I only insist:
"No sight is worse than pessimist".

Hi Pritesh,
Short poems should never be apologised for. It is more difficult to capture emotion and vision in them. You have done a great job here in a lovely poem with good meter and metaphor. You are young you will get over such set backs enjoy life and don't be a victim be a vixen!

Great poem Pritesh, I don't think you should apologize for short poems, I find it a lot more difficult to capture emotions in short poems and you have done that very well here, great use of metaphor as well. Either way I think poems should be written according to what you have in your mind instead of hanging on to others' view; other writers' views help us better ourselves but they shouldn't define us...good write!!

While I have no room for pessimism in my life, you have brought it to me with a lilting group of phrases that I found well constructed and laudable. My kudos!

Grand! The opening is quite good, it was very "explosive" for me. And the last stanza was a good concluding end. How ever I wondered if a "a" word fit in between "than and pessimist" in the very last line? and maybe a more significant picture along side the title, than the one you have now.
