Tryin to be Patient

We all go through those battles of holding on to faith

Faith....maybe it's faltering

Soul, you're still altering

Sometimes it's hard not to feel like my soul is up for auctioning

 

I'm tryna' hold on, tryna' wait for the reward,

But my mind is gettin' weak and I need some extra help Lord,

I took a step out on faith, now the devil tryna' get me back,

I'm tryna' be patient and wait, but I just don't know how to act

 

It's gettin' hard out here Lord, and my vision is gettin' blurry

I know you got a plan for me so I'm tryin not to worry

But what is my purpose? I need to know, PLEASE tell me

Thought I had it together, but my mentality is bout' to fail me

 

What you want me to do, use me how you see fit!

But please Dear Lord hurry, cause I don't think I can take another hit
