One Man's Treasure

One Man's Treasure

A Poem by Tom Friel

So simple, so shallow
So soft, so preserved
So be, one man’s treasure
So stoically she be served

A pedestal, a mirror
A beauty to this day
A flaw, a tear
Tomorrow looks away
