My "Touch-tone Girl"

My "Touch-tone Girl"

A Poem by Tom Friel

So much cheaper than a shrink
So much better than a drink
My ever-sexy "Touch-Tone Girl”
I’m calling you, lets give it a whirl!

You’d be surprised I'm actually shy
A sensitive lad, not prone to cry
Every minute I spend with you
My load is lightened, no more blues

Oh how I love, my "Touch-Tone Girl”
The thought of you, makes my head swirl
Some chit  - some chat - a whisper or two
Oh where would I be, if I didn’t have you?

Oh my God! Just say it’s not true!
Please operator, I'm totally screwed!
“No longer in service”, I put the phone down
Lonely and limp knowing she’s left town
