Bow To The Queen

Bow To The Queen

A Poem by Tom Friel

The present and the future
Entwined with time
Welcomes nature's royalty
As they bestow mankind
Their gift is their glory
Sharing roles as the Queen
Each wear lovely petals
Ever soft and serene
A Queen's beauty
Fades all too fast
Bequeathing her role
When time has passed
To a budding Princess
As pretty as the Queen
Spendidly she opens
Herself to be seen

Wow, that was a splendid recount of the beauty of a flower. It flows so smoothly and is so clear and understandable. Wonderful job!
