Taboo

Taboo

A Poem by Tom Friel

What do you do
When taboo fills you
You do what you do
In life you be true

You steal for a feel
You pay for what’s real
You eat the whole meal
You pray for a deal

You pass on the bill
You weather the chill
You question your will
All for a thrill
