Still A Frog

Still A Frog

A Poem by Tom Friel

I’m living proof
A kiss doesn’t work
I’m still a frog
Possibly a jerk

So I can hop
so I can ribbet
I’d take a Bud Light
If I could get it

Here on my pad
I ponder my life
What I would give
To just have a wife

I snap at my food
A fly meets his end
Surrounded by pond scum
Some I call friends
