A Good Heart

I remember teasing her a bit
And her saying to me
"Don't get me started"
She had strong views on many things
Politics being just one of them
She had that rare passion in life

A passion that if only
Someone, somehow could bottle
But they can't, not now
And never will

 

For you can't bottle
A good heart
They're are always open
Flowing, sharing and caring

Good hearts are self-starters
She didn't need me
To get her "started"
But the world sure could use
More like her
