The Irish Speak

The Irish Speak

A Poem by Tom Friel

The Irish
God love'em
Have a way with words
Words, that will never be banned
Lips, that will never be sealed
Hearts, that will never be stopped

The Irish
God love’em
Will speak forever
With a wink or a smile
With a stare or a glare
With a cry or a sigh

The Irish
God love’em
Will not be denied
