Warbeast

Warbeast

A Poem by Evan Winslow

The train wails,
gnarl-toothed warbeast,
blindly groping insecurities,

I am Oedipus,
sight in self loathing removed,
The creature,
Bartimaeus,

Its call beckons,
to submission,
but I,
continue,
blindly as he.
