From Which We Rise

From Which We Rise

A Poem by Priscilla Sayers

Come into these arms,
rest upon my chest where our breaths can merge,
as one,
we breathe in life,
exhaling the pleasure,
of being,
so close.....

Woody scents and sweet love hues,
an aura lit of blues,
turns red and fiery smoldering,
burning at both ends....

Touches magnify senses,
beyond the norm,
we ascend.
Keep climbing, my love,
God's reminder,
lie in promises.

At each rainbows appearance,
rendered by streaks of Sun light,
to keep us safe,
from floods the that offer to wash us away into the night.

But as the fire within us burns,
never fear the night,
for I am yours and,
you are mine,
our Phoenix souls ignite....

Very beautiful poem. I love nature type stories and this is one of the best I've read. It reminds me of what my grandmother use to tell me. Great work!
