To our Tears

A poem about inevitable heartbreak.

The Beast takes time.
Erupting war and solitude with its stride.
Lusting,
Caressed by the city,
Electric fireworks and mind make the purest actions.
Wasting your tears and not money,
Grass explodes, taking you.
She needs to waste,
As most of us desire.

Your lick and genius
Your skin and shame
Your bite and forgiveness
Inverted.

Coloured nest and pouring soup.

What you have taken from innocent minds.

Bludgeoned perspective.

The new tastes.

Nakedness and offerings,
The beast takes time.
