![]() Sisters Are ForeverA Poem by Princess_ck84![]() 4th poem in series, follows "Bystander"![]() Sisters Are Forever It’s gone quiet; all I hear is snow falling Eyes swollen, bloodied shut I feel blood slip from my open cut Stiffly turning, I see some on-lookers balling Ears clearing, I hear the sobs; crackling of fire Through splintered windshield, I see chaos Crumpled car flipped over, scattered pieces of tier Shock traps me behind the wheel and I’m at a loss I step out from my heap of metal, bend my aching knee Stretching my back I begin to feel some ease Only then do I see her sprawled in the snow A mass of bloodied blond hair and a face I know Running to her side; her name, I start calling Hoping my heart’s not lying, but I see no life; her eyes are not shut But, I thought I heard her screaming… Crystal Kells
