Fallacy

Fallacy

A Poem by XGlycerineQueenX
"

its pretty self explainatory.

"

You were the hardest hand to hold

Because you held me to the ground

You made your mark upon my skin

And to your side you kept me bound

You pushed your poison through my veins

And painted all my solace red

You filled my head up with your lies

You kept me sick and hatred fed

I put my faith in empty words

I would've died for what they meant

Investing stock in worthless letters

Just left me bruised and badly bent

I held you high upon my pedestal

And I'm the one who ends up torn

And in the end you'll play the martyr

But I will wear the crown of thorns

You trampled through my only virtue

With what wasn't meant to be

You killed what used to be my fairytale

With your white painted fallacy.
