I wish I could see you one more time Before you took your last breath I wish I could talk to you and hold you in my arms I think of you daily, replaying the old memories we had All I can do is clutch them with my chest and pray you would come back I know you wouldn't You left me forever But the hurt and pain can't be forgotten I wish I could hear your voice again But unfortunately life has not given me that choice I feel lost and dazed I seek solace I know you are not here with me but you are always there right in my heart.
I am so, so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine. The words are so haunting and heartbreaking and raw. You really put your whole heart into this, I can see that. They really always be with you in your heart and you'll find reasons why you know that everywhere. But you captured them beautifully and immortalized them in this poem. I hope you're doing well, and know that you have the talent and creativity to make them proud and capture them forever in your words. (: Take care.
I happened upon this poem by chance; the title caught peaked my interest since I have a similar one, ‘But just once more’ ... to remember someone with their written words is a heart felt gesture and a spiritual connection on a highly personal level. ..... XO .... be safe
