His Majesty

His Majesty

A Poem by Courtney M Watson
"

"your social god keeps you swollen eyed"

"
There is somewhere
God is hiding, cowardly.
Left ghosts to dirt
smothering their filthy souls.
Guilty from the Earth the maker had grown.
Temptation planted,
left hungry hearts to feed on poison.
Eat, children.
Taste the guilt.
Consume damned toxin,
inhale the spill.

His majesty has fled,
leaving his children
so ill.

Hard to understand the Gods.
"His majesty has fled,
leaving his children
so ill."
The above lines do seem true. I have been searching for answers for 50 years. I still don't have any. A powerful poem that made the reader think. Best kind of poetry.

You convey your message clearly. I think it has a dark spin to it, but the way you put words together is done very nicely.
