Larger than life

Both in size and spirit

Yet so gentle with your love

Your wicked sense of humour

Touched all who knew you

Leaving laughter in your wake

Your t-shirt that said

“I’m not Santa but you can sit on my lap”

Tickled you pink to show the ladies

Always willing to do anything

For anyone

A true and fast friend

 

Taken so suddenly from us

To dwell in heaven

My heart is broken

My eyes shed tears for my loss

But happiness for you

For your reunion with Craig

 

Watch over us daddy darling

Shedding raindrops of tears

As with your passing

Smiling with the sunshine

And laughing with the thunder

About 43 years ago. I was about a year old so sadly I never really knew him but my parents kept him very much alive in their memories and so I can say that I love him. x
