The Calm Before the Storm

The Calm Before the Storm

A Poem by Trase
"

Short poem featuring gray clouds.

"

It happens when you are silently still.
You pay attention and watch above you.
Those white herds you see now,
aren't the ones that are coming.
Those white herds are moving;
Making way for their fierce gray cousins.
But they are peacefully moving; not causing any ruckus.
A stampede isn't necessary now;
therefore, its already coming.
Just wait and watch...

I like how it transforms from quiet to storm,
And the feel of sitting, watching clouds pass.
No one can deny having ever done that.

A very nice write, great job!

So beautifully penned with a rare harmony and a contained elegant peace in your voice.
