because you're perminant

because you're perminant

A Poem by Kaitlin Siobhan

you know you left quit a mess

now i'm here having to wash you off my hands

you layed out these evil deeds for me

the moment you kissed her lips

and if there is a god

i'll fight my way into her good graces

explain

these thoughts were not my own

and it was you who put the gun in sight

now i'm having to wash you off my hands

clean your heart off the couch

move it out with the rest of the trash

cause no, you don't deserve a burial fit for a queen

not when you take advantage of your beggers and thieves

leave them with hopes of glory and riches

return with stakes, pitch forks and torches

i guess i'm the pesent who found the old soldier's sword

with enough reason to strike you down

now i'm having to wash you off my hands

in hopes that your army doesn't come searching

and what do i say to the cops

when they come around looking

and on the coffee table still sits your gun

what do i say when they poke about?

they've caught me already

nervous with my hand's tucked away in my pocket

you're clever with you sourcerer's and magician's

your blood is perminant

red handed i am

your death is a tragedy

but some rejoice in the stands

they say it doesn't matter

that you promised your heart to a begger

for you are a queen

who had done so much better

and your god wont let me enter

through her pearly white gates

so i'll be suffering in hell

due to your clever spell
