Electric rain

Electric rain

A Poem by KaylaMarie

I'm getting dizzy
My legs are getting lazy
I stumble and I fall into a puddle
I awaken
Was it all a dream ?
Flashes of me swirling around
Yellow jacket, rain boots and umbrella
Rain sliding down my silky cheeks
It sneaks it's way into my mouth
Sending electricity throughout my veins
with ease
Lightening blinds my eyes
I see a shadow of a girl in the distance
Another flash of lightening
Makes the shadow appear closer
As I try to keep my composure
I try to expose her
Who are you? I ask
Lightening again, and shes gone
Rain drops flooding my eyes
will be my demise
Who was that girl behind the tree
pointing at me ?
