Flames

Flames

A Poem by KaylaMarie

Flames

Warmth and comfort is within the flame's
The burning sensation igniting your soul
Not a care in the world, it seem's
The feeling in your veins; better than any dream's
Only until its too late to stop the ache's and pain's
You are the wick that is being burned
Withering away like you're nothing; without a name
The flame's are consuming every ounce of you, with ease
Feels good at first, but is dangerous
With all intentions to burn the wick until there is nothing left that remain's

        - Be cautious of the flames in your life; it's usually the ones closest to you that light the match just to see you burn. -
