The shredded clouds loom red
as the newborn baby
screaming his lungs full of air.
My fears drown my tears,
my thoughts. Every fiber cries
for freedom, for captivity
in your guard.
You killed me and gave birth
to someone you couldn't love.
A cold being,
bloodless, a beating heart
in a mind of stone.
