Memories

I used to know who you are

But now I have no idea

I haven’t seen you in a while

And I can’t remember much

Of what I do remember

It’s all good things

I remember the way you looked

And the way you would talk to me

I also remember I always liked to watch you work

We sat next to each other all the time

You used to smile a lot

I wish you would smile for me

But now you’re gone

And I don’t know if you’ll ever come back

All I have are memories

And I know they’ll never go away

The memories I have of us

I wish you could stay
