A Poem by Alaska

The razor's kiss,
So soft and silent,
Gliding across my pale skin,
I've become too compliant.

The little white pills,
Lined up in neat rows,
Beckon to my mind,
And my submission grows.

Come and help me,
Come take me away,
Come save me,
Let me see another day.

I don't want to end this way,
So subdued and numb,
It sickens me so much,
To feel this dumb.

Please...
Please just come hold me...
And keep my dark monsters at bay...
Don't let me go...
Don't let the darkness stay...
