One More Chance

One More Chance

A Poem by Annika Patrick

You used to live in my dreams. You were my tall, dark, handsome guy and my knight in shining armor. I fell hard for you and you picked up the pieces everytime, that is, except for the last time. I opened my eyes when you just left me, and I saw someone else helping me out. I was upset with you, but I gave you another chance. Things were going great and then it all ended. You had hurt me beyond repair. Or so I thought. That other amazing guy was still tehre helping me. You had failed on your second chance. That was the end. He stayed by me though, and now I'm giving you one more chance. I hope that we can be friends again. Remember, only one more chance, no more than that.
