The pain of being let down

by the one you love

The pain of being betrayed

of feeling not good enough

The pain in your heart 

that brings tears to your eyes

the pain of finding truth

among multiple lies

The tears that flow

many a night

the blows that share

when you put up a fight

The feeling you get 

when you have to go away

when you're wishing

night could turn into day

Hurt me, try to break me

you're only making me stronger

extending my life,

a few days longer

The pain i feel is ooh so real

but you wont understand

The hurt i feel is my journey

and my battles to fend

your's might be different

but it still hurts in the end.
