The last drop of tearA Poem by writer in trial
Thanks to her big eyes that hold immense tears.
She empties most , keeping a drop to converse. The drop that slithers from her cheeks, Carrying the agony and pain. Before it hits the concrete floor, Before it vapourizes forever, Leaving the traces of sorrows, She lands it firmly over her palm. She blames the tears of happiness who come as stream Leaving behind a tiny one alone. She thanks the last drop for accompanying her. She thanks the last drop for encapsulating her fears. But time is short And nothing even lasts. She knows within a few seconds it gonna blast. The last drop is about to fall. Its viscosity is getting dull. It hits the concrete and releases its soul. Sorrows in the form of concentric rings trap her. She wishes one last drop to hold them. © 2014 writer in trialReviews
