Artemisia

Artemisia

A Poem by Prates

Words too wise for a man to understand.

The wisdom of time changes the way the figures are.

Skyline.

Solstice.

Mythological evolution.

The horizon makes night into day.

The gates of morning and afternoon, fundamental concepts of earthly powers.

Everything is in the past.

Winter.

The crows came.

Being outside for a while.

No worries.

And then…

Die!

This was fantastic! A journey from light to dark, life to death and the trek we all must take from the dawning of our seasons to the end in winters chill.

Much loved!

You made it simple with your words. Each word with purpose and reason. Death is the end. A excellent poem. Thank you.

wow...like...just wow.
So many different thoughts just ran through my head.
the end makes me laugh a little, like: "I was just outside and then---DIE!"
Still, really good write.
