Sea

Sea

A Poem by KingKat

Garbled noise - obsolete
Yet, even more so - me

The pages turn time, and the ink fades
Away the world shies
And there's a way I'll shine

But instead I'll strain
Away from light
Shaking souls seeping
Away and Away he and she cries

Till bone and dust
And even in this great sea we can't trust

So away and away goes the hunger and the days
And a day and a day everyday
We read on and on till it gets to the end
And our say is dead
We realise,

"...We've withered. Haven't we?"

So to the deep darkness I fall and I fall
But there's no sound, and no sound
Unlike trees so heavy, they crash with Deathening sound

And everybody - deaf
Wrangling screams don't pierce through
Every body - left, only me to tell you

That waves still roar, crash & tumble
Overhead, in over my head
I mumble and I mumble away and away
According to you

Should I leave you to be?
Cause leaves fall as well
As light; as me
But they don't plunge through the flowerbed
Unlike me

Unlike waves that still roar, crash & tumble
Overhead; in over my head
I mumble and I mumble away and away
According to you
