THE BROWN LADY

THE BROWN LADY

A Poem by frdz

Was that a terrific night?

When she initially spot to my sight.

Wearing a brown dress,

She appeared, and made my mind full of stress.

Alone in the Raynham Hall

I ran to left, then to right

Still found no person to guide

She rise with unusual rage

And said without hesitate

“Stop you human”-with a glory

And wept her dreadful story

She sang a poem to relieve her pain,

Contents with melancholic strain

I felt aloof for her saga

Which was as like as nougat

“Do you kill everyone”-asked I

“Yes”-she said with a shy
