Black Sheep

Black Sheep

A Poem by Leviathus Fortes

Little black sheep

Look at you now

So differ from all of the flock

See where you're going?

They cannot follow

It seems it was all empty talk

They said you were different

You didn't fit in

And each one, they had a good laugh

Judging who you were

But not realizing

You were destined for a greater path

So hold your head high

And walk past them all

Don't bother to associate

They'll stand in their grouping

Talk behind your back

Your fans in denial, will hate

Wonders await you

Just keep of your strength

You are favored, know all is well

It's time to start walking

Step by step, you will go

Become legend, a story to tell

Can you see your future?

It's down the road

All you need do is start

Be proud you're a black sheep

For you will go far

So always believe in your heart
