There is a clear difference between tempting fate and tempting fate.
Yet temptation, and what defines it, has always been up for argument.
I've always questioned if one has wondered if perhaps fate is tempting you.
Maybe fate is nothing more than a narcissistic entity. And that, to exist, it feeds off the energy of others. It craves the attention. but somehow, there's this feeling, that fate is in need of a love. and not just of any love, for only one thing could ever fill the empty void in which fate clung. and would cling towards for all of eternity. And that one thing? That would be...Character. Yes, you have read that correctly. Ponder on that mystery for a while and see what your logical reasoning deduces and then try to bring forth to the world a plethora of inconclusive evidence that you had come up with in your own head. It does seem such an odd trait to be needed for a spiritual vibration fully known by all as existence. Fate must feed and the only thing that accentuate(satiete) its hunger would be the true driven character of the living human soul.
So the conclusion that one must naturally come to would be that fate itself is tempted by the temptations of those who are tempted by temptation. Or to better explain, through help of a question...does one give or does one take?
It is merely the feeding of the ego. a choice being presented, a decision thereof, to which one who is, decidely of their own accord, to become either selfless or selfish. The ever present inner struggle of that which shall together, without ceasing, do much battle. The war existing primarly between that of hungry minds, hungry hearts and hungry souls. The desire to witness one's transition, to see all ending results come to fruition. That was, in of itself, temptation in all its power and glory. fate relished in the pure delight of its own sickeningly mad cravings. pure adrenaline, just as if it were like the energy ommited(created) by the force of a strike of lightning.
