Bunny was so shy
She dared not venture out What if someone hurt her? Just like they've done before She had to build a trust To let another person in For Bunny always shielded her heart So Bunny, she would hop And cautiously she'd sneak Until she found a soft, safe place where it was warm Then she would hop down Resting on a fluffy mound And as she circled it She felt it getting warm And on the other end Was a carrot, her best friend But Bunny was too shy to say hello The longer she would wait Stepping back; to hesitate Made her love that carrot even more She was very glad It was different; but nothing bad Bunny loved this carrot with her heart But Bunny was so shy From every carrot, she would hide So she slid down And went inside THE BUNNY HOLE © 2015 Leviathus Fortes |
