1000

Congratulations!!!

I look around and see words
And it boggles of my mind
All these phrases and these stories
And the favorites I do find

Too many of them out there
I'll read each, if I can
I'm going to read them all
At least, that is my plan

It may take me a lifetime
Or maybe more, I do suppose
I'm fascinated by them
All this poetry and prose

But them is not descriptive
Of what each does entail
Every facet, every nuance
And I follow every trail

The rhythms, I am guessing
As I follow the writer's pen
They're all just so amazing
So where do I begin

A book, a line of poetry
A story, or just prose
Maybe some erotica
Let's see where my mind goes

What am I in the mood for
Happiness or pain
In learning of another
What wisdom will I gain

Each perfect piroutte that's made
Brought from deep within
I shall add to my favorites
And read them all again

Hearts shared to the whole world
Each person, made a friend
So let's all continue writing
And never have this end

A thought I thunk I thought up
A thought I thunk I think
Now I'm reading every passage
And trying not to blink

Can it be that we are reaching
Our hands into the sky
Have we really made 1000
Because of you and I

A milestone we have hit
So gather and rejoice
We made it here together
All it took was just a voice


Or 1000 voices...
