Let's call the Garbage Man

Let's call the Garbage Man

A Story by Leviathus Fortes

We used to have some trucks for this
But the trucks did us no good
Because the garbage piled up everywhere
Much faster than we all could clean
There's too much trash around this world
We must recycle every bit
To somehow turn it into energy
What are we to do
Let's call spaceman Norm
He can help us out
Using a vacuum hose
It goes into his Katamari orb
He turns all trash into a ball
Then secures it with a lasso
He's done it many times before
He waves goodbye, but he'll come back
Then he jumps into his spaceship
And flies towards the Sun
Releasing of his lasso
The garbage drifts away
It burns upon impact
Never to return

I love this poem it's wonderfully written,
You made me smile whilst touching on many real problematic issues.
I'm not sure what I like more, the piece itself or the title, very clever I really enjoyed this.
