Mole Again

Mole Again

A Story by Leviathus Fortes

On the 7th hole, there was a mole
Who lived deep underground
He kept to himself, barely ventured out
And hardly made a sound

He was awoken early morning
When something hit his head
An intruder ventured in
And was laying on his bed

He'd seen it once before
But of when, he can't recall
It was round and it was white
And it looked just like a ball

Then came another rolling down
And another followed suit
They were piling up inside his bed
What was he to do

So he packed up his belongings
And onward did he roam
To find a place he'd not be bothered
To find another home

As he was on his way
Balls we're flying everywhere
He looked off into the distance
For his new home was lying there

A ball hit him in the butt
A ball hit him in the head
This place was getting dangerous
He'd find a safer place instead

He came across some dirt
And he burrowed deep inside
There he built his new home
There now, he would hide

Being tired of this
He had moved into the sand
And the sand trap is the place
Where you'll see the mole again

light, humorous with some light innuendos ....reminds of the book Who Moved My Cheese talking about change and how people react to it or not react to it....great job

I just noticed something isn't an alley cat and a mole kind of enemies? lol

I think some punctuation is required in this poem for example "What was he to do" would read better with a question mark.

"To find a place he'd not be bothered
To find another home " - I found this line very confusing it sounds like he doesn't want to find another home, is that what you meant?

Overall a great piece I could really relate to the mole at first as I like to stay in a lot and value my peace and to be left alone, the message of his habitat being destroyed came across subtly but clearly.

Wonderfully written keep up the good work!

He was going to find a place where he would not be bothered.
He would find a brand new home.

Ah I see "not be bothered" to me means too lazy haha must be a language thing sorry!
