Rule Book

A Poem by Leviathus Fortes

A pen he saved
A pen he earned
As he wrote
A phrase was burned

Helpful guidance
Unrepentant
Time unknown
Yet days were spent

Many splendors
You will find
A magic ten
Will come to mind

Follow these
And you will see
Exactly what
You're meant to be

Always there
Since time was born
It took man's sin
To bring them forth

Commandments cherished
Read aloud
From a man
Unto a crowd

Blindly shunned
A big mistake
Chosen was
Their path to take

Even now
Man falls prey to this
Ignore these rules
Be denied bliss

Clever imagery! Nicely composed with a misterious flow.
