Imaginary Friend Too

Imaginary Friend Too

A Story by Leviathus Fortes

We used to be the best of friends
And play together all the time
We both would be creative
So many adventures I recall

At one time, you'd introduce me
You were so very proud
Even when no one believed
You still stood up to their harsh words

But I knew that we were drifting
I had felt it all along
Their comes a time, even true friendship
When both must part of ways

I enjoy each and every memory
With you that I did share
I'm glad that you could lean on me
When your heart was filled with pain

Goodbye is not for always
Our paths shall cross one day again
You were a part of me
And I was a part of you
