I See

I See

A Poem by Leviathus Fortes

So timeless are these many things
Forever are they kept

Awakened, as if from a dream
I see into the veil

Unanswered, all my questions
Mysteries surrounding me

A fog that I must move through
And be lost nevermore

Where are you my clear sky
I wish of you to come

Gallantly I carry on
With no worry of recourse

How is my soul feeling
It changes direction day by day

Never to be without mistake
If I feel mistake was made

Nothing can say this isn't right
A choice that I stand by

Warmth shall come from healing
Ice shall always melt away

Snowflakes are the best part of the chill
Each and every one I see
