Tell Me Another LieA Poem by Leviathus Fortes
Figments of my imagination
That's what they said to me You can't persuade me to stop thinking So don't manipulate my mind Nonexistent, that's pure rubbish I can find each and every one Entwined, were all our destinies And one day they'll all step forward But new paths had opened, so we obliged A better future all now have Achieved have we, much better things And you're all standing still Everything much slower Life now passing by, soon you will see This was the outcome of your doings Punishment, if you'll come to realize I shall continue on my journey And by my words, I'll be set free The me I've found will extend a hand Helping who I can as I pass through Sometimes I think it merely rambling Thus I ponder to myself When tied together, is there meaning And the answer's always yes I shall see into the darkness I'll use a flashlight, I suppose It is a light that resides within me I have nothing I should fear So here I go, still standing I hope you all had your fun I will return some day to show you The foley of your ways But there's one last thing I must do It is the reason for my search I'm to rechieve what had been stolen I want it brought back into my life I am unsure of how long that it will take But my patience is the key Persevere, I must, to have completion For resolution, just more time © 2015 Leviathus Fortes |
