Amazement

I see in my mind a cascade of colors 
Flowing into an abyss of sweet nothingness 
For my life, my own, my whole, 
I shall forever walk in repeated footsteps 
Until my torrent droll life does come to an end 
And my heart beat another time no more 
I shall be forever fallen down 
In an arch of my own mis wonderment 
And time will take its toll to destroy me 
And I'll be together still
