A Poem by Leviathus Fortes

Transverse converse
I pen a phrase
I try to stop
Yet questions raise
What drives me so
To keep the rhyme?
The answer's hidden
There with time
I want to ask
But should I know?
Exactly where does
My mind go?
I have questions
As do you
Puzzle pieces
Are they clues?
Engage our minds
What will we find?
To learn the truth?
Please pay in kind
I continue, unaware
Yet you point out
That it is there
Random speech
And random psalm
Where was I?
Am I gone?
How is it that
I do not know?
Unrecognized,  but still I go
Is it a game?
Is it a test?
Only I am the one
Who knows me best
What the hell is happening?
Where's this leading?
What will it bring?
Confusion always clouds my mind
What is it that I think I'll find?
