Texas Hold'em

A Poem by Poseidon
"

The Dating Game

"

In a perfect world

I would tear down this wall

That lies around the game

First impressions and cruel timing

Fear paralyzes my advances

To show one’s true self

This too rushed

When you go all in

People fold

Those who stay in

To see the flip of the cards

Could be open to an intimate world

Where I show true intentions

No disguises

No lies

However nothing is perfect

So the cards remained unflipped

While I try to stack the deck
