A Poem by Poseidon
"

Relationships and rough patches.

"

Now there are two sides behind every emotion

Two interpretations for every mood

How am I supposed to rectify a meaning?

In the way that your body moves

To pick up on that silent language

You purposely try to hide in plain sight

Do you really want to find that divine light?

This confrontation gets me so confused

Send me through that loop

Say what you mean

We are not strangers

There is no present danger

But if you cannot keep it straight with me

What does that say about trust?

The thing creates loyalty

Is yours fading?

Or the fear of mine fading growing

Release the stress you seem to grip

I will catch any tear

That threatens to drip

Meet my gaze

Become lost in this moment

Know that when I say

I love you

It’s true
